Daniel Vollenweider relocated to the Mosel from native Switzerland, and completely overturned the fortunes of the über-steep, historically difficult Wolfer Goldgrube vineyard. He now has one of the finest reputations in the entire Mosel producing wines of plunging salty depth and subtle spiciness. Daniel feels that after the fanfare of 2015, this marks a return to more classic, balanced Mosel Kabinett Riesling.
