We were so impressed on tasting this, the 3rd wine of legendary Château Lynch-Bages, that we had to buy as much as we were allowed to. The 2016 vintage is viewed as unique and as having produced wines of exceptional elegance and verve. This wine gives an early opportunity to appreciate these characteristics, especially as it benefits so much from the terroir, expertise and care inherent in this property.
Concentrated blackcurrant and red plum fruit with aromas of cedar, tobacco leaf and vanilla spice. The tannins are so silky in texture and the balance on the finish is superb. Drink now until 2030.
