As traditional an outfit as you’re likely to see anywhere in the ‘Langa’, now in the hands of Valter and son Emanuele Musso. We tend to go a little longer on the Langhe Nebbiolo which is made up entirely of younger-vine cru (Pora & Rio Sordo) fruit, which goes some way to explain why it’s always a standout wine here. Concentrated coulis of red fruit and essentially Barbaresco by any other name.
